This issue can look like the following errors when you click the appointment link:
- no response
- going to the Zoom app but not the meeting
- being asked for the meeting ID
- getting a ‘Webpage Unavailable’ error
You will need to clear your data/storage
- Close Google Chrome.
- On your apps screen hold down the icon for the Google Chrome app. A window will pop up.
- In the pop-up window, you'll either see “App Info” or the Info icon ⓘ in the top right of the pop-up. Click whichever of these you see.
- Click “Storage.”
- Click “Clear Data/Storage.” (Note that the wording may be a little different depending on your device. It's important to click the option that references Storage or Data, not Cache. Clearing your cache will not solve this issue.)
- A new pop-up will appear. Press “Clear all data”
- Use the appointment link to open Zoom in your browser.
- If you get a notification for Google Sync, press “Yes I’m in.” When prompted, allow camera and microphone permissions.
