- While you are in the meeting, press anywhere to bring up the options at the bottom of your screen. The furthest left option in the bottom will say “Join Audio.” Press it to bring up two options: “Wifi or Cellular data” or “Dial in.” (See below for images of what these choices look like.) Choose “Wifi or Cellular data.” Once you do this, the “Join Audio” button will convert to “Mute/Unmute.” Make sure it is unmuted for others to hear you speak.
- If you have already joined audio and still can’t hear anyone, make sure a Bluetooth audio device isn't connected by Zoom. The quickest way to do this is to disable Bluetooth and check to see if the audio starts working through your phone speaker.
On Apple, the audio options will appear in the center of the screen.
On Android, the audio options will appear in the lower left corner.
